Bartlett Museum

One of the best city museums North of Boston housing what Native American experts claim the best collection of Indian artifacts in the Northeast and exhibits are expertly arrranged in room and case settings. There are several cases of rare stuffed birds.
The carriage house has several carriages made by Amesbury manufactures and related items

Bartlett Museum is a historic Victorian style school house that was built in 1870 and named for Josiah Bartlett. It is located at 270 Main St., Point Shore with a panaromic view of the Merrimac River. It is open between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day, Fridays through Sundays form 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. (The Museum is also open 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM on holidays.) To see the Museum during other times, or to make arrangements for group tours, call 918-388-4528 or 978-388-7950.
